What if a festival didn’t have to be expensive, impersonal and produced by somebody else?

Aestival is a different kind of festival: An invite-only event, where all those coming take part in producing it. The result is something more eclectic, and a whole-load more friendly than the average music festival around. Where arts, crafts and classes are centre stage with music; Where you are as likely to enjoy a massed game or staged event as you are to dance in the woods under the stars with all your friends.

Aestival is completely non-profit. When we say that, we mean it down to the last detail. All time is being given for free, and any proceeds we make will go to Barnardo's. There is no sponsorship, marketing gimmicks, external food vendors or promoter trying to make money.

What will be going on? We can tell you there will be great music, delicious local food and drink, games, challenges, treasure hunts, comedy, spoken word, dancing, classes, crafts to make, and art to admire and take part in. We have a beautiful site: grassy paddocks, surrounded by peaceful woods, timber framed barns and ponds. And we are going to fill it to the max....but most of our plans we are leaving as a surprise.
